MESO Digital Interiors developed software for an interactive table for Siemens at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin 2008 and 2009.
Set into a multilayered framework by Franken Architekten and filled with rich graphic layers developed by Hauser Lacour, MESO Digital Interiors spread a multitude of interactive monitors into the table. Core focus was to have simple, lightweight albeit playful interaction, so all monitors were controlled by simple to use dials.
To communicate Siemens´ high level of technical sophistication all exhibits delivered 4MP-resolution (2560 × 1920 pixels at 60 fps) on 30"-monitors.
The “crema-calculator” allowed visitors to experience the various factors to get a perfect crema on the espresso. Another monitor displayed a time-line showing the cultural history of coffee.
