MESO Digital Interiors developed an interactive table for Siemens at Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin 2008 for the presentation of Siemens new coffee maker EQ7. Spread over the table were nine interactive terminals with at least one monitor presenting various information about the world of coffee and Siemens latest coffee maker. Each interactive terminal was navigated by a seperate computer. At one terminal the many features of the EQ7 were introduced to the public by video slide show in full HD-quality.
Another terminal compared two species of coffee beans with each other by virtual 3-D zoom travel into the center of a coffeebean. Highlight of the interactive table was the terminal informing about coffee cultivation. It contained three monitors each linked with a seperate computer and presented the developing process of coffee from the bean to the drink with 60 high resolution images in a slide show (image resolution 2560×1920 pixel) via full HD video signal. All interactive terminals worked with our multipurpose toolkit vvvv, generating up to 60 fps.
